“Snow Bush”

Lesson learned: Start with a bigger sheet of paper!
Even though I roughly marked out the lines of the bush, it still grew during it’s realization and I had to leave out more than half of the snowy branches.
My mind and eyes see all the details causing the snow and branches to expand beyond my initially planned structure. I need to be more disciplined to stay inside the boundaries of space.
During the development of a previous it became apparent to me that I needed to learn more about snow. At this time of year it is easy to get some wintry reference photos . So on some sunny -32C mornings and late low lighted afternoons, I managed to get a few images that I could use.
